Details

An extremely rare circa 1825 Scottish Georgian Past Master's jewel.

The jewel is made in silver-gilt and white metal, with large green and white stones.

It was manufactured by J Law, who were jewellers in Edinburgh between 1820 and 1840. They made many Scottish Masonic jewels at the time, including the 1838 Centenary Jewel of the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

It is most unusual to see a Past Master's jewel this early, whether Scottish or otherwise.

A very special jewel.
