An superb early Victorian Royal Arch Chapter jewel. This early Victorian jewel is dated AD 1851, and next to it is engraved the masonic date of AL 5851.

The other side bears the name of its maker, W. Evans, 26 Gt. Queen St. London. A few very minor imperfections as one might expect in a jewel which is over 160 years old, mentioned just for the sake of accuracy.

A beautiful and highly recommended jewel which comes with its original Victorian hanger. The jewel is silver-gilt although not marked. Its total length is just ubder 15 cm, and the jewel itself measures 7cm x 4cm.

This is a Georgian style jewel, much larger than the smaller Victorian style Chapter jewels which became popular in the 1860’s. Catalogue No. TH 602.
