The top bar is stamped with the makers initials, E.L.I. The lower bar is stamped with the number 18.
Below this is the Lodge Number, 49, in the centre of ornate scrollwork, with a
square and puzzle underneath with the inscriptions-
Br. HENRY VENN P.M. OF THE GIHON LODGE No. 49 17 DECEMBER 1874.

Mark Masons Hall, London. The gold weight is 20 grams
