TH233 The Masonic Masonic Memorial Fund 1922 Special Collector’s jewel.

It was sold in 1922 to raise funds for the building of the new Freemasons Hall in London.

The cost was an enormous 240 Guineas each (you could buy a house in London
for 240 Guineas in 1922).

Due to its high cost, many were bought by lodges and then presented to the W. Master.

On the back of the jewel the name Brother S.E.James in engraved.

Only 956 were made. A very sought after jewel which is in excellent condition.
