TH231a A scarce Masonic Million Memorial Fund jewel Lodge No. 1706.
This jewel is from the small original order, and is hallmarked for 1921, a year before
the jewel was actually issued.
As it is from the original order, it was made in two parts, which can be seen by the two
bulges or rivets on its back, shown on the photograph which is from a different lodge.
On the back is the name of Bro. R. G. Dubery of Orpheus Lodge No. 1706.
Orpheus Lodge No. 1706 met at the famous Holborn Restaurant which has now closed.
