A superb mid-Victorian Chaplain’s Jewel.
The jewel has been made in three parts, and the design and engraving
are of the highest standard.
From its design I would estimate the medal to date from circa 1850, perhaps
a little earlier, and the picture of this special jewel doesn’t do it justice.
The back of the medal is unengraved.
