The lodge was Consecrated in 1904 in Calcutta, India.
Unusually, when India gained Independence in 1947 the lodge remained a member of the United Grand Lodge of England despite remaining in India.
The lodge still meets at Freemasons Hall, Park Street, Calcutta, India.
A really beautiful and rare jewel.
