TH601HarperGSec. A really Special large 1803 Thomas Harper Royal Arch jewel.
This jewel belonged to William White, the Grand Secretary of the Moderns from 1781-1813.
William White was the extremely famous Grand Secretary who oversaw the demise of the Country Stewards Lodge in 1790,
as well as the creation of The United Grand Lodge of England in 1813.
The jewel is dated 1803 AD and 1807 AL.
Ironically, 1803 was the year that William White oversaw the expulsion of Thomas Harper from the Moderns Grand Lodge as a fake Freemason as
Thomas Harper was also a member of the Moderns Grand Lodge. Clearly politics didn’t get in the way of business.
It is almost certainly gold although it hasn’t been tested.
A very special, rare and historic jewel which measures at 5mm x 7mm, or 14mm including the ribbon.
