The 1895 Steward’s jewel for the West Lancashire Masonic Educational Institution.
The institute was formed in 1850, and began issuing Steward’s jewel in 1885.
A very scarce jewel, only the second example dating from 1895 I have seen in 30 years.
In very good condition.
