A magnificent jewel dated 1837 with Prince of Wales’s feathers attached.

The jewel was made by John Acklam who had premises at 132 The Strand, London.
John Acklam served his apprenticeship under Thomas Harper, and it is thought that many of the Royal Arch jewels with a Thomas Harper maker’s mark were made by him.
